FAQ
What does the LeveLuk K8 do?
It filters tap water, then uses electrolysis to ionize it into five water types for drinking, cooking, beauty and cleaning.
Is Kangen Water the same as reverse osmosis water?
No. Reverse osmosis filters water through a membrane. The K8 filters, then ionizes through electrolysis, which produces alkaline, hydrogen-rich water.
How many water types does the K8 produce?
Five: Strong Kangen Water, Kangen Water, Clean Water, Beauty Water, and Strong Acidic Water.
Is Kangen Water safe to drink?
Kangen Water at pH 8.5 to 9.5 is intended for daily drinking and cooking. Strong Kangen Water, Beauty Water and Strong Acidic Water are not intended for drinking.
What filter does the K8 use, and how often should it be changed?
The K8 uses the FC1 filter, which removes chlorine and other contaminants from tap water before ionization. Recommended replacement interval is every six months. To confirm you're purchasing the correct filter, open the machine and check the label on your current filter:
- If it says MW-7000HG, choose the HG filter.
- If it says F8, HG-N, or FC1, choose the FC1 replacement.
